As ridiculous as it
may sound, many people believe that there is
little correlation between what children watch and
how they behave in real life. Even though it may
not cause teens to commit violent crimes, I
wouldn't want my daughter going out with a boy who
spent his afternoon watching hardcore pornography!
A Direct Connection To Sex
In addition, all these
Free sites are supported by advertising and paid
referrals. The paid referrals come from sites
that allow people to find others in their area to have
sex with. It's not bad enough to show all this
material to kids, but now they are showing them
how to use the internet to find sexual partners in
their area.
These sites
include:
AdultFriendFinder.com
( Link Goes To Alexa Data )
SexSearch.com

Fling.com
( Link Goes To Alexa Data )
Each of these sites
allows people to find sexual partners in their
city who want to get together for indiscriminant
sex. Even though these sites advise that they are
for adults over the age of 18, there is no form of
age validation being used. I'm quite certain that
if a 16 year old boy or girl claims to be 18+, no
one will be checking to make sure it's true. On
most of these sites you can't contact others until
you have paid a membership fee, but others can
contact your children if they have set up a free
membership (which doesn't require age
verification). How would you feel if someone was
contacting your child or grandchild looking for a
sexual partner? I would be furious!
Regardless of whether
or not children actually register on these sites
(I'm sure most do not) it still sends the wrong
message to impressionable young minds. That when
they have sexual urges, they can simply go online
and "hookup" with someone. All of these web sites
should require age verification before allowing
anyone to set up a free profile. There is not
enough protection under current laws.
